My photographic artistic goal is to convey a sense of wonder, presence, and reverence for the world we inhabit. I explore the dance of energy between the light, subject and environment. Whether I am in a remote wilderness or a bustling city. My hope is that the viewer walks away with a renewed appreciation for the fragile, extraordinary beauty of our planet and the lives that fill it.

I rely entirely on natural light, whether I am photographing the inside of a flower in my garden or vast landscapes in the remote environments I explore. This reliance on light shapes my entire process: observing how it shifts through day and night, how it transforms mood, form, and meaning. My preferred lenses are telephoto, macro and sometimes wide angle. These tools allow me to capture and express my personal perspective and deepen my visual stories.

My work is driven by a desire to tell cultural and journalistic stories through photography. I am motivated by a deep sense of curiosity and a love for adventure, which has led me across all seven continents and more than seventy-two countries. What I aim to communicate is human and natural narratives that unfold in less-traveled places.
